Mr. Bader Riyadh, the Chief Executive Officer of the Baghdad Council for Digital Transformation and E-Payment, participated in the "Hadith Baghdad" program, where he addressed a number of key issues concerning the digital future of Iraq.

During his speech, Mr. Riyadh emphasized the increasing importance of raising cybersecurity awareness, especially amid the rapid digital challenges the world is facing. He stressed that protecting data and information infrastructure has become a paramount necessity requiring concerted efforts.

The Chief Executive Officer also stressed the urgency of legislating laws regulating digital transformation, noting that a strong legal framework is the foundation for the growth and development of this vital sector. Mr. Riyadh also underscored the importance of embedding an electronic payment culture as a fundamental tool to drive the digital economy forward. In this context, he explained that achieving a true and effective electronic payment system requires an integrated and qualified banking system to support these modern trends.
