The Iraqi Digital Transformation and E-Payment Council held a meeting with the IT and Communications Center at the Ministry of Oil to discuss the development of digital systems, enhancing cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, and improving the ministry’s digital infrastructure. The meeting aims to support digital transformation, improve service efficiency, and reduce operational costs.

As part of its efforts to support the digitization of state institutions, the Baghdad Council for Digital Transformation and E-Payment, in cooperation with Aswar Company, organized a specialized IT training course for employees of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities, and Public Works. The initiative aims to develop technical capabilities and enhance government performance efficiency towards an integrated electronic government.

The Digital Transformation and E-Payment Council held a meeting with the Irrigation and Drainage Department at the Ministry of Water Resources to discuss ways to improve the performance of the agricultural sector in Iraq.

The Chief Executive Officer of Baghdad Council for Digital Transformation and E-Payment, Mr. Bader Riyadh, participated in the "Hadith Baghdad" program to discuss the importance of cybersecurity and the necessity of legislating digital transformation laws. He also emphasized establishing an electronic payment culture as a pillar of the digital economy, stressing the need for an integrated banking system to support it.

The Baghdad Council for Digital Transformation and Iraqi Electronic Payment expresses its gratitude to Al-Iraqiya Channel for highlighting the promising FinTech sector. It also thanks the Iraqi government for its ongoing support, which enhances digital transformation, creates new job opportunities for youth, contributes to the GDP, and reduces unemployment, supported by the new guarantee and retirement law.
