This interest came through the short documentary produced by the channel, which showcased the growing importance of this emerging and vital sector.

The council would also like to extend its thanks and appreciation to the Iraqi government for its continuous adoption and support of this promising sector. This governmental support is the cornerstone in driving the shift towards financial technology and digital technology in financial and banking transactions in the country.

This digital transformation is expected to contribute positively and directly to creating new job opportunities, especially given the young demographic composition of Iraqi society, where youth represent over 60% of the total population. This development not only supports the gross domestic product but also contributes to reducing unemployment rates and supports employment in the private sector, especially following the issuance of Law No. 18 for Social Security and Pensions of 2023, which guarantees the rights of workers in this sector and provides them with necessary social protection.
